PODCAST SEASON LENGTH

Most podcasts have 10 episodes per season. This helps organise the content, gives listeners a clear storyline to follow, and makes it easier for them to keep up with the show. 

Each episode can be as long or as short as you want. However, most episodes are between 20 and 30 minutes long. This allows for interesting discussions without being too overwhelming.  Shorter episodes are good for quick updates or news, while longer ones can be used for in-depth interviews or stories.  

The best length for your podcast depends on the topic and your audience.

ONE-OFF OR LONG SERIES?

Most brands begin by doing a one-off podcast. This can be a great  way to test the waters and see if podcasting is right for them. 

However, it's important to remember that podcasting is a  marathon, not a sprint. To really build an audience and see results,  you need to commit to a longer-term strategy. 

We recommend starting with an exploratory season of around 10  episodes. This will give you enough time to test your concept, get  feedback from your audience, and see if it's something you want to  continue.
